NEED A NEW START IN
LIFE???
"If any man be
in Christ, he is a New Creation, old things pass away, all things become
new."
II Cor. 5:17
That is what you get when
you turn your life over to Jesus. He gives you a
NEW BEGINNING and a NEW START in life!
"old things" (your
old life and the sins you have committed) "pass away"
and
"ALL THINGS become NEW."
ALL YOUR SINS are FORGIVEN
and YOUR PAST is wiped CLEAN!
You know how it feels when
you have had a hard day at work and you are dirty and sweaty and you just feel
run down,
then you take a shower and you wash all that filth away and you feel FRESH,
CLEAN and ALIVE again!
That is what happens when
you accept Jesus. He CLEANS you up, WASHES all your SINS away and you feel
ALIVE again!
You don't need to CLEAN UP
your life first to come to Jesus.
He will do the washing and clean up the things in your life that needs to be
cleaned up.
You just need to be OPEN, ask God to FORGIVE you for the things you have done in
the past,
ask JESUS to come into your HEART and make you a NEW CREATION,
accept the FREE GIFT from GOD and START
your NEW, EXCITING, and ETERNAL LIFE!
"For it is by GRACE,
you have been SAVED, through FAITH and this NOT from YOURSELVES,
it is the GIFT of God, NOT by WORKS, so that NO ONE can BOAST."
Eph. 2:8-9
"But when the KINDNESS
and LOVE of God our Savior appeared, he SAVED us, NOT because of RIGHTEOUS
things WE HAD DONE,
but because of his MERCY. He SAVED us through the WASHING of REBIRTH and
RENEWAL by the Holy Spirit..."
Titus 3:5
"...you were WASHED,
you were SANCTIFIED, you were JUSTIFIED in the name
of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of God".
I Cor. 6:11
We have ALL fallen short and
made mistakes in our lives...
"...for ALL have SINNED
and fall short of the glory of God,..." Rom. 3:23
"there is NO ONE
righteous, NOT EVEN ONE..." Rom 3:10
"...ALL our RIGHTEOUS
ACTS are like FILTHY rags;" Isa 64:6
We are SEPARATED from God by
our SIN, and sin MUST BE atoned for by the SHEDDING of BLOOD.
"...and without the
SHEDDING of BLOOD there is NO forgiveness" Heb 9:22
So Jesus became the LAMB of
GOD, to be the sacrifice for our sins ONCE and FOR ALL TIME.
"...Look, the LAMB of
GOD, who TAKES AWAY the SIN of the world!" John 1:29
"...so Christ was
sacrificed ONCE to TAKE AWAY the SINS of many people; Heb. 9:28
"Since we have now been
JUSTIFIED by his BLOOD, how much more shall we be SAVED from God's WRATH through
him!
For if, when we were God's enemies, we were RECONCILED to him THROUGH the DEATH
of his Son,
how much more, having been RECONCILED, shall we be saved THROUGH HIS
LIFE!" Rom. 5:9
"For GOD so LOVED the
world (YOU), that he have his one and only SON,
that WHOEVER believes in him shall not perish but have ETERNAL LIFE."
John 3:16
There is that NEW LIFE we
talked about earlier, a NEW beginning, a NEW start, a NEW life in CHRIST, just
waiting for YOU!
***********
The following is a SIMPLE
prayer to START your NEW LIFE...
"Dear Lord Jesus, I
realize I am a SINNER and I ask you to FORGIVE me and come into my HEART and
CHANGE me.
Mold me into the person YOU want me to be.
Thank you for DYING on the cross for MY SINS so that I may start a NEW and
ETERNAL LIFE with YOU.
Lord, give me a NEW LIFE that revolves around YOU and YOUR WILL for my life.
In the Name of Jesus....I pray....Amen!"
If you prayed that simple
prayer....

HUMAN RECALL NOTICE
This is totally amazing. Talk about
clever and to the point!
Never heard it put quite like this
before
RECALL NOTICE:
The Maker of all human beings (GOD)
is recalling all units manufactured, regardless of
make or year, due to a serious defect in the primary
and central component of the heart.
This is due to a malfunction in the
original prototype units code named Adam and Eve,
resulting in the reproduction of the same defect in
all subsequent units.
This defect has been identified as "Subsequential
Internal Non-morality," more commonly known as S.I.N.,
as it is primarily expressed.
Some
of the symptoms include:
1.
Loss of direction
2. Foul vocal emissions
3. Amnesia of origin
4. Lack of peace and joy
5. Selfish or violent behavior
6.
Depression or confusion
7. Fearfulness
8. Idolatry
9. Rebellion
The Manufacturer, who is neither
liable nor at fault for this defect, is providing
factory-authorized repair and service free of charge
to correct this defect.
The Repair Technician, JESUS,
has most generously offered to bear the entire
burden of the staggering cost of these repairs.
There is no additional fee required.
The number to call for repair in all
areas is:
P-R-A-Y-E-R.
Once connected, please upload your
burden of SIN through the REPENTANCE
procedure.
Next, download ATONEMENT from
the Repair Technician, Jesus, into the heart
component.
No matter how big or small the SIN
defect is, Jesus will replace it with:
1.
Love
2. Joy
3. Peace
4. Patience
5. Kindness
6. Goodness
7. Faithfulness
8. Gentleness
9. Self control
Please see the operating manual, the
B.I.B.L.E.(BEST Instructions Before Leaving
Earth) for further details on the use of these
fixes.
WARNING:
Continuing to operate the human being unit without
correction voids any manufacturer warranties,
exposing the unit to dangers and problems too
numerous to list, and will result in the human unit
being permanently impounded. For free emergency
service, call on Jesus.
DANGER:
The human being units not responding to this recall
action will have to be scrapped in the furnace. The
SIN defect will not be permitted to enter Heaven so
as to
prevent contamination of that
facility. Thank you for your attention!

Dancing With God
When
I meditated on the word
Guidance,
I kept seeing "dance" at the end of the word.
I
remember reading that doing God's will is a lot like dancing.
When
two people try to lead, nothing feels right.
The
movement doesn't flow with the music,
and
everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.
When
one person realizes that, and lets the other lead,
both
bodies begin to flow with the music.
One
gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back
or
by pressing Lightly in one direction or another.
It's
as if two become one body, moving beautifully.
The
dance takes surrender, willingness,
and
attentiveness from one person
and
gentle guidance and skill from the other.
My
eyes drew back to the word
Guidance.
When
I saw "G: I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i".
"God,
"u" and "i" dance."
God,
you, and I dance.
As
I lowered my head, I became willing to trust
that
I would get
guidance
about my life.
Once
again, I became willing to let God lead.
My
prayer for you today is that God's blessings
and
mercies be upon you on this day and everyday.
May
you abide in God as God
abides
in you.
Dance
together with God, trusting God to lead
and
to guide you through each season of your life.
This
prayer is powerful and there is nothing attached.
If
God has done anything for
you
in your life,
please
share this message with someone else,
for
prayer is one of the best gifts we can receive.
There
is no cost but a lot of rewards;
so
let's continue to pray for one another.
And
I Hope You Dance

My confession:
I don't like getting pushed around for being a Jew, and
I don't think Christians like getting pushed around for
being Christians. I think people who believe in God are
sick and tired of getting pushed around, period. I have
no idea where the concept came from, that America is an
explicitly atheist country. I can't find it in the
Constitution and I don't like it being shoved down my
throat...
Or maybe I can put it another way: where did the idea
come from that we should worship celebrities and we
aren't allowed to worship God as we understand Him? I
guess that's a sign that I'm getting old, too. But there
are a lot of us who are wondering where these
celebrities came from and where the America we knew went
to.
In light of the many jokes we send to one another for a
laugh, this is a little different: This is not intended
to be a joke; it's not funny, it's intended to get you
thinking.
In light of recent
events... terrorists attack, school shootings, etc.. I
think it started when Madeleine Murray O'Hare (she was
murdered, her body found a few years ago) complained she
didn't want prayer in our schools, and we said OK. Then
someone said you better not read the Bible in school...
The Bible says thou shalt not kill; thou shalt not
steal, and love your neighbor as yourself. And we said
OK.
Then Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our
children when they misbehave, because their little
personalities would be warped and we might damage their
self-esteem (Dr. Spock's son committed suicide). We said
an expert should know what he's talking about.. And we
said okay..
Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no
conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and
why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their
classmates, and themselves.
Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we
can figure it out. I think it has a great deal to do
with 'WE REAP WHAT WE SOW.'
Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then
wonder why the world's going to hell. Funny how we
believe what the newspapers say, but question what the
Bible says. Funny how you can send 'jokes' through
e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start
sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice
about sharing. Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene
articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public
discussion of God is suppressed in the school and
workplace.
Are you laughing yet?
Funny how when you forward this message, you will not
send it to many on your address list because you're not
sure what they believe, or what they will think of you
for sending it.
Funny how we can be more worried about what other people
think of us than what God thinks of us.
Pass it on if you think it has merit.
If not, then just
discard it... no one will know you did. But, if you
discard this thought process, don't sit back and
complain about what bad shape the world is in.
My Best Regards, Honestly and respectfully,
Ben Stein

Did God Create Evil?
A university
professor challenged his class: "Did God create
everything?" A student replied, "Yes." The
professor continued: "If God created everything, then
He created evil, too. And since our works define who we
are, then God is evil." The class became silent. Suddenly
another student raised his hand and asked,
""Professor, does darkness exist?" The
professor responded, "Yes." The student replied,
"No, sir, darkness does not exist. Darkness is just
the absence of light. Light, we can study, but not
darkness. In fact, we can use Newton's prism to break the
white light into many colors and study the various wavelengths
of each color. But you cannot measure darkness. A
simple ray of light can break into a world of darkness and
illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space
is? You measure the amount of light present.
Darkness is
a term used by man to describe what happens when there is not
light present." Then the young man asked, "Sir,
does evil exist?" Now uncertain, the professor
responded, "Of course." To this the student
replied, "No, evil does not exist, sir, or at least not
exist unto itself. It is simply the absence of God.
It is just like darkness, a word that man has
created to describe the absence of light. God did not
create evil. It is the result of what happens when
man does not have God's love present in his heart. Evil is
like the cold that comes when there is no heat, or the darkness
that comes when there is no light." The professor sat
down. The young man's name was Albert
Einstein.

The Missing Day
For
all the scientists out there, and for all the students who have a hard time
convincing these people regarding the truth of the Bible, here's something
that shows God's awesome creation, and that He is still in control.
Did
you know that the space program is busy proving that what has been called
"myth" in the Bible is true? Mr. Harold Hill, President of the
Curtis Engine Company in Baltimore, Maryland, and a consultant in the space
program, relates the following development.
I
think one of the most amazing things that God has done for us today happened
recently to our astronauts and space scientists at Green Belt, Maryland.
They were checking out where the positions of the sun, moon, and planets would
be 100 years and 1,000 years from now. We have to know this so we won't send
up a satellite and have it bump into something later on in its orbits. We have
to lay out the orbits in terms of the life of the satellite and where the
planets will be so the whole thing will not bog down.
They
ran the computer measurement back and forth over the centuries, and it came to
a halt. The computer stopped and put up a red signal, which meant that there
was something wrong with either the information fed into it or with the
results as compared to the standards. They called in the service department to
check it out, and they said, 'What's wrong?"
Well,
they found there is a day missing in space in lapsed time. They scratched
their heads and tore their hair. There was no answer.
Finally
a Christian man on the team said, 'You know, one time I was in Sunday School,
and they talked about the sun standing still.' While they didn't believe him,
they didn't have an answer either, so they said, 'Show us.' He got a Bible and
went to the book of Joshua where they found a pretty ridiculous statement for
any one with 'common sense.' There they found the Lord saying to Joshua, 'Fear
them not, I have delivered them into thy hand; there shall not a man of them
stand before thee.' Joshua was concerned because he was surrounded by the
enemy, and if darkness fell, they would overpower them. So Joshua asked the
Lord to make the sun stand still! That's right... 'The sun stood still and the
moon stayed and lasted not to go down about a whole day!' (Joshua 10:12-13)
The astronauts and scientists said, 'There is the missing day!'
They
checked the computers going back into the time it was written and found it was
close but not close enough. The elapsed time that was missing back in Joshua's
day was 23 hours and 20 minutes . not a whole day. They read the Bible, and
there it was 'about (approximately) a day.' These little words in the Bible
are important, but they were still in trouble because if you cannot account
for 40 minutes, you'll still be in trouble 1,000 years from now. Forty minutes
had to be found because it can be multiplied many times over in orbits.
As
the Christian employee thought about it, he remembered somewhere in the Bible
where it said the sun went BACKWARDS. The scientists told him he was out of
his mind, but they got out the "Book" and read these words in 2
Kings that told of the following story: Hezekiah, on his death bed, was
visited by the prophet Isaiah who told him that he was not going to die.
Hezekiah asked for a sign as proof. Isaiah said 'Do you want the sun to go
ahead 10 degrees?' Hezekiah said, 'It is nothing for the sun to go ahead 10
degrees, but let the shadow return backward 10 degrees.' Isaiah spoke to the
Lord, and the Lord brought the shadow ten degrees BACKWARD! Ten degrees is
exactly 40 minutes!
Twenty-three
hours and 20 minutes in Joshua, plus 40 minutes in Second Kings make the
missing day in the universe!" Isn't it amazing?

"Be
not deceived; God is not mocked"
Death is certain but the Bible speaks
about untimely death! Make a
personal reflection about this. Very interesting, read until the end.
It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7): "Be not deceived; God is not
mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
Here are some men and women who mocked God:
JOHN LENNON: Some years before, during his interview with an American
Magazine, he said: "Christianity will end, it will disappear. I do not
have to argue about that. I am certain. Jesus was ok, but his subjects
were too simple, today we are more famous than Him" (1966). Lennon,
after saying that the
Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, was
shot six times.
TANCREDO NEVES (President of Brazil): During the Presidential campaign,
he said if he got 500,000 votes from his party, not even God would
remove him from Presidency. Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day
before being made President, then he died.
CAZUZA (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet): During a show in
Caneco (Rio de Janeiro), whilst smoking his cigarette, he puffed out
some smoke into the air and said: "God, that's for you." He died at the
age of 32 of AIDS in a horrible manner.
THE MAN WHO BUILT THE TITANIC: After the construction of the Titanic, a
reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be. With an ironic tone he
said: "Not even God can sink it" The result: I think you all know what
happened to the Titanic.
MARILYN MONROE: She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of
a show. He said the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her. After
hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said: "I don't need your
Jesus". A week later, she was found dead in her apartment.
BON SCOTT: The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he
sang:
"Don't stop me, I'm going down all the way, down the highway to hell" On
the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked
by his own vomit.
CAMPINASSP IN 2005: In
Campinas,
Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went
to pick up a friend. The mother accompanied her to the car and was so
worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the
daughter - holding her hand, who was already seated in the car: "MY
DAUGHTER, GO WITH GOD AND MAY HE PROTECT YOU." She responded: "ONLY IF
HE (GOD) TRAVELS IN THE TRUNK, CAUSE INSIDE HERE IT'S ALREADY FULL".
Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal
accident, everyone had died, the car could not be recognized what type
of car it had been, but surprisingly, the trunk was intact. The police
said there was no way the trunk could have remained intact. To their
surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of eggs, none were broken.
Christine Hewitt: A Jamaican Journalist and entertainer, said the Bible
(Word of God) was the worst book ever written, in June 2006 she was
found burnt beyond recognition in her motor vehicle.
Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other name
that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus. Many have died,
but only Jesus died and rose again, and he is still alive.

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT WAR?
|
Question: "What does the
Bible say about war?"
Answer:
Many
people make the mistake of believing the Bible says, “You shall not kill,”
and seek to apply this command to war. However, the Bible actually says,
“You shall not murder” (Exodus 20:13). The Hebrew word literally means
“the intentional, premeditated killing of another person with malice.” God
often ordered the Israelites to go to war with other nations (1 Samuel
15:3; Joshua 4:13). God ordered the death penalty for numerous crimes
(Exodus 21:12; 21:15; 22:19; Leviticus 20:11). So, God is not against
killing in all circumstances, but rather only murder. War is never a good
thing, but sometimes it is a necessary thing. In a world filled with
sinful people (Romans 3:10-18), war is inevitable. Sometimes the only way
to keep sinful people from doing great harm is by going to war with them.
War is a
terrible thing! War is always the result of sin (Romans 3:10-18). In the
Old Testament, God ordered the Israelites to: “Take vengeance on the
Midianites for the Israelites” (Numbers 31:2). See also Deuteronomy
20:16-17, “However, in the cities of the nations the LORD your God is
giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes.
Completely destroy them--the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites,
Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites--as the LORD your God has commanded
you.” Exodus 17:16 proclaims, “He said, "For hands were lifted up to the
throne of the LORD. The LORD will be at war against the Amalekites
from generation to generation." Also, 1 Samuel 15:18, “Go and completely
destroy those wicked people, the Amalekites; make war on them until you
have wiped them out.” So, obviously God is not against all war. Jesus
is always in perfect agreement with the Father (John 10:30), so we cannot
argue that war was only God’s will in the Old Testament. God does not
change (Malachi 3:6; James 1:17).
Jesus’
Second Coming also is exceedingly violent. Revelation 19:11-21 proclaims,
“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose
rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war.
His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a
name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in
a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies
of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in
fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with
which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron
scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God
Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING
OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who
cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, "Come, gather
together for the great supper of God, so that you may eat the flesh of
kings, generals, and mighty men, of horses and their riders, and the flesh
of all people, free and slave, small and great." Then I saw the beast and
the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war
against the rider on the horse and his army. But the beast was captured,
and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on
his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the
mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown
alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. The rest of them were
killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse,
and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.”
It is an
error to say that God never supports a war. Jesus is not a pacifist. In a
world filled with evil people, sometimes a war is necessary to prevent
even greater evil. If Hitler had not been defeated by World War II, how
many more millions of Jews would have been killed? If the Civil War had
not been fought, how much longer would African Americans have had to
suffer as slaves? We must all remember to base our beliefs of the Bible,
not on our emotions (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Ecclesiastes 3:8 declares, “there is…a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace. In a world filled with sin,
hatred, and evil (Romans 3:10-18), war is inevitable. Some wars are more
“just” than others, but all wars are ultimately the result of
sin. Christians should not desire war, but neither are Christians to
oppose the government God has placed in authority over them (Romans
13:1-4; 1 Peter 2:17). The most important thing we can be doing in a time
of war is to be praying for godly wisdom for our leaders, praying for the
safety of our military, praying for quick resolution to the conflict, and
praying for minimum casualties – on both sides of the conflict
(Philippians 4:6-7). |
