One mould with two versions, one gold/silver/black and the other, just add
the color.
This is the best I could
do to reflect what I have in mind. This is pretty much
what I want...
6 1/2" Tall x 7" wide
with a 4" sq center cut out.
I weighed
a similar zinc buckle in size and it was about 12 oz
(.34kgs)
At a future date,
I would also like a smaller version with a 1 1/2" sq cut
out. Just scale the whole dwg down.
* I would like the
base metal to be Solid Brass, this is the preferred metal.
Or, could be pewter/zinc with brass/silver highlights, as long as the
overall look is achieved, and has to be a QUALITY buckle that
will last for years! If you can use another type of the same QUALITY and strength
and achieve the same look, I would also consider that.
The end
result must be a quality buckle that will last for years,
not months!
*
I would like the images such as the holly
leaves/bells/ribbons to have more of a 3D effect rather than
just a "flat" image. Background would be recessed so
the images would have a raised look. 1/4" thick with
1/8" recessed. See "hand drawn" sketch below.
*
I would like the holly leaves above to be as
big as possible similar to the oak leaves below, maybe just
two large leaves. See the "hand drawn" sketch
below to see what I am talking about...bigger the better.
* As you also see I have
two versions of the same buckle, one that has a black
background/brass/silver highlights and the other version is
the same but an Epoxy Colored version. I would like
quotes on both. At a later date, I would also like a
quote on a "scaled down" version to be fit a 1 1/2" belt.
* Powder coated so it
doesn't have to be polished all the time.
* From left to right there
would be a light "curve" to conform with the body, so it
doesn't "stick out" and catch on things.
*Back of buckle edges need to be rounded
and smooth so they don't scratch the belt or prick suit.
* I would like to
talk/email directly with the graphic designer to make sure
he knows what I want.
*
Quantity, depending on the price per unit, I would start off with several dozen, then order on
a regular basis. I am selling these to SANTAS which is
a specialized limited market. So, I don't need or can
afford thousands. Please try to work with me on the
qty.
